Bad town to live in

Recomanded for no one. Do not move here. I use to live in the high desert, 22 years ago or so. Back then it was a nice family type of place to live. Now its a piece of shit place. I regreate coming back to live here. Its really sad, homeless people everywwhere. Rude gehto people everywhere. Its a really disrespectful type of town. Hoes evetywhere, woman n men hoes. Trashy place, no doubt. Its really sad to come back here and see the high desert turn to shits :(...You have all sorts of trashy races out here, its not the Mexicans that are a issue, its the low class culture that has moved up the high desert, from diffrent low class ereas such as the gehto LA parts, Also even from chicagos gehtos, as well as other citys, which have been in recent years cleaned up, for the rich to live. They moved all the low income familys to the high desert, n built prisons, jails, etc. N there still building more prisons. Its a mess out here in the high desert. Im out of here soon as posible.

Wouldn't Want to Live Here!

Victorville reminds me of Mexico. I don't have anything against Mexican people, but I don't speak Spanish and don't want to live in a Mexican culture community. About 95% of the community living and working there are Mexican. I noticed a lot of the Mexican people working in the community has a negative attitude. One restaurant I ate at while visiting the area, the hostess was playing with her hair in between serving the guests their drinks and chips. The Dressbarn workers in that area are the some of the rudest workers I ever met. If your into the Mexican culture and people then the high desert area is for you.

Victorville CA - A Cool Place for Families

Me, my wife and our three boys ages 9, 7 and 3 went to Victorville to visit family this past June. It is a really small town type place, but we really enjoyed the slow family life of the community.

The first thing you should check out in Victorville is the California Route 66 Museum in Old Victorville Town. They have a bunch of nice and neat exhibits - but the gift shop was pretty lame. The food in the area, is simple. Victorville has a few diners and places you would get at home.

Mojave Narrows Regional Park is a really small but a nice little place. They have great bird watching and scenic views. Scandia Family Fun Center was a fun time for the kids. My wife and I soon grew tired of the noise level and lack of things to do, but it kept the kids preoccupied for hours. Victor Bowl is a great place and everyone in the family had a good time. It was a little old fashioned, but it had a nice snack bar and a gaming arcade.

Overall, Victorville is a nice little place to go with family and friends, I would recommend it.
