Sugar Hill is a beautiful city just a glance away from Lake Lanier. It's outside of the Atlanta Area--behind Alpharetta and Duluth--giving it access to an amazing city and a unique look at two of America's greatest Korean communities.
Everything is stunning in Sugar Hill. The houses are immaculate, the lawn care is grand, and the roads are beautiful...usually. When entering neighborhoods--whether it's the nicer part of town or the developing family homes for Atlanta workers--the roads are usually great. Peachtree Industrial Blvd and I-20 need work, but I guess that's the story of busy roads anyway.
Living in Sugar Hill is like entering an estate of nature. You're surrounded by great architecture, respectable families, and the result of industry investments done well. The Chattahoochee River streams along the west coast of Sugar Hill, allowing many smaller streams and ponds to add delicate and delightful waterscapes within the greenery.
The best areas in Sugar Hill are around the Buford Nature Preserve. Just northwest of that area is a strip of great restaurants and shops on W Main Street and W Shadburn Avenue.
