This is the most miserable cities I’ve lived in I thought it would be charming because it is a southern college town and reasonable rental just until I could build in a place near Savannah But the people here are just horrible people everyone is so mean and rude and gossipy Ev ...Read More

I have found Statesboro to be The Locals Vs Everybody Else. I moved to Statesboro from Savannah because I wanted a slower pace of life yet remain close to Savannah. Huge mistake. Statesboro is still in the 19th century. The town makes its money off the college students and the lo ...Read More
cals main desire is to do nothing for but take their money. Rental property is the main industry and it consists of predatory practices of slum landlords. From the electric company to the hospitals this town delights in making your life miserable. I can not understand why any student would consider GSU because living in Statesboro is hell.

Overall, it's a nice little college town...nothing to fancy, but certainly not boring either. There's always something going on at Georgia Southern University; plus Savannah is just a brief drive away. ...Read

Honestly, I do not recommend Statesboro, GA for anyone. The officers in the city do not believe in politeness. They do not allow youth to enjoy their college years. Any event or party, even during college week, we're shut down within an hour. Without hesitation you'll receive a t ...Read

icket or be arrested by any means. The city lIves off of the college students to make their funds. They don't allow school pride which causes student's to become bored and unhappy. There are no attractions to keep families and the students amused. If youre from the city and enjoy the beach, a fun park, don't expect. The only thing I would recommend is the education provided for primary and secondary schooling. There are not many schools to offer and certainly school suchildren as the academy have been know to racial profile. Statesboro does not make it any easier to find a job unless you're in the medical field or have a career. The other students have already taken the positions at McDonald and Cookout, which of course doesn't pay. The housing is cheap but not beautiful. Im not saying anything should come easy, but the city makes things hard. Retirees and those that require rehabilitation have it easy because there are many locations built for them in the city. Please, if you're a collegend student look elsewhere. You will not enjoy your youth here; you may actually be ruining your entire career and life plans. This is simply my opinion, so need to dramatize my comment.
