Has everything you need with easy access to downtown 4 rating By ballaboyee21 ( Oct 31, 2018) Had a great time living here. Was easy to walk to the library, movie theater, grocery store, and restaurants nearby. Was surprised by all the homeless people at the park, but they caused no problems for me directly (I lived here for 8 months). Saw a fight between them once but it ...Read More wasn't too serious. The parking situation is pretty bad and is probably going to get worse. Usually have to park 3 blocks away from where you're trying to go. Public transportation is great here for the most part. Every now and then the bus is completely full and you have to wait for the next one (especially in the winter nights after work, don't ask why, I don't know). Ended up moving back to California because I quit my job (living with family here) but I had a great time in Ballard. Read Less
