Located in western Massachusetts, Northampton is one of the better examples of diversity in America. Everyone is pretty liberal and open-minded, giving the small niche town with a downtown fit for entertainment. Many of its residents tend to move in and out of the the small city either for college or back into town for more favorable opportunities. I can’t stress how many different sort of people there are, I wouldn’t doubt that anyone looking to move he could find a group of people they get along with on the regular.

The only thing that I would say is that the there isn’t descent pub transportation, even though the buses run day-to-day. Beyond that, there are biking paths that traverse through various neighboring towns, but I wouldn’t recommend them for your commute, if your thinking about moving here.

This city within a city is definitely a great place to raise a family as it will flourish in a community that is all exclusive and welcoming.
