eaches are kept in pristine condition and for a little peace and quiet, the barrier islands of Sanibel and Captiva are only a short drive away.
For shopping I visit the Merchant’s Crossing Center or the Weaver’s Corner mall, but I prefer the unique gift and specialty shops and galleries. For big box stores, I drive to Fort Myers, only three miles away, where there is a repertory theater, a dinner theater, and the Fort Myers River District with a great selection of restaurants.
Because I live close to the water, house prices are higher than farther inland, but you don’t need to live in the best areas in North Fort Myers to enjoy the marina, water sports or the Sun Splash Family Park. This area is definitely worth a visit.
