What To Do In Montebello, CA

Two years ago my sister and I visited Montebello California for two days. Our initial reason for visiting was to see the Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Cathedral which is the only american cathedral located in California. Transportation around Montebello was relatively abundant and easy to use. The city's government offers the Montebello Bus Lines for public use.

There are nine different parks in the city of Montebello and they each offer recreation for any age group, young and old. The Grant Rea park offers a zoo and pony rides which would be a great place to take your children. Here there are even train rides and a merry go round. My sister and I spent most of a whole day at this park taking in the beautiful scenery of Montebello and enjoying a pic nic. We watched the children ride ponies and the parents chase their children around the park.

We also had the chance to eat at a wonderful restraunt located in the center of Montebello. The food was amazing and the view outdoors was even better. The city is quiet and fairly small so there isn't much of an oppurtunity to enjoy a nightlife.
