at the end of the day, having a quiet place to curl up and read a book is important to me, and Mandota Heights gives it to me.
Sure, there isn't a ton to do here, I'll admit that. Basic shopping, a few awesome places to eat, and that's it. The best ares in Mandota Heights, aside from my cozy little house, are, like I said, the few places to eat. My favorite is Axel's Restaurant, which hits the spot when you need something indulgent, like juicy stake or perfect, flaky fish. We may not be super busy here, but the community can't be beat.
