Enjoying Peace And Quiet In Laurel, VA

LIving in Laurel, VA allows me to work within a reasonable distance of work, own a reasonably priced home and feel safe with my family. Laurel, VA is never going to be compared with the larger suburban cities of Alexandria or Springfield in the northern part of the state. It is a much quieter and subdued suburb of Richmmond, VA near the southern border of Virginia In Laurel, VA getting a home on a 1/2 to a full acre at under $250,000 is not unusual. Your home will compare favorably in size to those larger homes in the northern portions of Virginia, but at less than half the price. Entertainment is very community driven with local parks and play areas for kids and small shopping centers for adults. Living in southern Virginia, you escape the harsher winter weather other parts of the winter experience. It's not uncommon to have a winter with no accumulating snow, summers are hot and humid though.
