much quieter and subdued suburb of Richmmond, VA near the southern border of Virginia
In Laurel, VA getting a home on a 1/2 to a full acre at under $250,000 is not unusual. Your home will compare favorably in size to those larger homes in the northern portions of Virginia, but at less than half the price. Entertainment is very community driven with local parks and play areas for kids and small shopping centers for adults.
Living in southern Virginia, you escape the harsher winter weather other parts of the winter experience. It's not uncommon to have a winter with no accumulating snow, summers are hot and humid though.
