City Life & Mountain Views In Central West, Denver

I briefly lived in Central West Denver, while attending school at Colorado Christian University. I really enjoyed living in this area, it has so much to offer. I loved waking up to the majestic mountain views. My only complaints about living in this area are snow in the springtime, and rush hour traffic. Living in Central West Denver is the perfect location for several reasons, the cost of living is very affordable, you can enjoy city life at its finest and you can retreat to the mountains when you crave a relaxing escape.

Housing is very affordable, comparatively speaking, and the cost of living is average. This helps to make Denver a great place for shopping. There are many unique shops and restaurants in Central West Denver. My favorite place to bargain shop is at Colorado Mills Outlet Mall. With over 180 businesses to choose from you are bound to find a bargain. My personal favorites are The Raving Burrito, Nike Outlet Store and Levi's Outlet Store. You can enjoy a night out on the town at The Yard House or Paradise Cove. When the hustle and bustle of city life becomes too much to handle, you can enjoy a Mountain getaway at Estes Park.

The best thing about living in Central West Denver is it has something for everyone within driving distance. Sport Enthusiasts can enjoy skiing or white water rafting. Adrenaline junkies can get their fix soaring on a roller coaster at Elitch Gardens or at Skyventure with some indoor skydiving fun. There are several peaceful parks in which you can find refuge when you just need to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, like Garfield Lake Park and Bear Valley Creek to name a few.

The amenities and affordability of this area make Central West Denver a great place to live. No matter what you are in the mood for, you are destined to find it at Central West Denver. However, if snow is not your thing, perhaps a warmer destination would be a better choice.
