Macy's, Dillard's and other merchants at La Palmera Shopping Mall make it easy to look sharp even on the hottest Texas days. Oso Beach Municipal Golf Course in this neighborhood makes it easy for anyone to learn the game with convenient golf lessons. Children adore playing Little League, soccer and Pop Warner football at Bill Witt City Park. While this area has many single-family homes, it is also a popular neighborhood with renters.
Located north of U.S. highway 358 and south of the shore, the Bay Area neighborhood is one of the most expensive in Corpus Christi. Residents enjoy a very safe area. They also find an area filled with many different amenities. The Sunrise Mall is a popular shopping spot along with a great place to grab a quick bite to eat. The World Market offers unique products from around the world. Many families enjoy listening to a concert on a warm spring night in Cole Park. This area of the city is home to many middle-class families choosing to live in detached homes built on one floor. Most homes have three bedrooms. The school district here is outstanding often receiving top marks on state tests.
