Getting to Westminster was easy, only about 15 minutes outside of Denver on a well maintained highway.(Which if you travel as much as I do, you'll know how important that is). I travel in an R.V. for the convenience, occassionaly I must stop the wheels for awhile and stay on land. Several people I spoke with were staying in the local hotels and so I decided to stay at the Residence Inn for 3 days. Very nice place, wonderful staff and convenient to the roadways.

While in Westminster, I also took in the wonderful Armed Forces Tribute Garden. Locals expressed their respect for the Armed Forces in a truly beautiful way. Thank you, from a veteran.

Last night in Westminster, I laughed myself silly at the Wits End Comedy Club. Great Visit, just thinking about my travel experience to the city of Westminster puts a smile on my face. Read Less

Westminster is a mere nine miles from Colorado's State Capitol Building. This close proximity to the Denver Metro Area make it a popular choice for those who live or study in the dynamic Lower Downtown Denver area or one of the other outlying regions. Westminster's population has grown to over 100,000 after years of steady growth as the city has built more housing and developed the infrastructure and governance necessary to support a citizenry.

Home prices in Westminster have risen in recent years as home prices in the state have surged. This increase in pricing has been driven in large part by a number of Californians who have moved to Colorado in search of a lower cost of living and a strong economy. While the prices may have risen, there are still some bargains to be found for those looking to buy or rent a home in the Walnut Grove, Silo, or Pebble Brook North areas. Each of these neighborhoods offer easy access to Interstate 25 and other major thoroughfares that cut through the heart of Westminster.

The Butterfly Pavilion is a small zoo that has a large collection of invertebrates. If you have a favorite invertebrate that you have been wanting to meet up-close and in-person, this is probably the place to do it. Clear Creek is a popular area of the city for those who love to recreate outdoors. Rowers, hikers, and campers flock to this area to take advantage of the natural beauty and adventure opportunities. You will find that the area is packed on summer weekends since it is such a short drive from the city.
