I used to live in Waynesboro,PA and I never regretted it for a second. It gives you a break from the city life and high tempo of other places and gives you a nice, settled approach to life.
The main town part of Waynesboro is a fantastic sight to be seen. It is almost like something out of a 80s movie. The streetlights, the sidewalks, to the friendly folks waving to each other, it gives you the feeling of being welcomed.
Here, you are able to live in a small town but commute to bigger cities with employment opportunities. You could also excel in politics in the community by joining there different boards.
This little slice of paradise does offer different shopping opportunities. There's a thrift shop a gun shop and even a small parlor for pipes and cigars. It may be considered your grandpa's town, but you are the one enjoying its benefits. A bonus is a hospital is right on Main Street.
