I have lived in Northwest Virginia Beach for five years now, and I love it! I like the history and culture of the area, the blend of the old and the new, and the friendly people.

Northwest Virginia Beach has a population of 70,387. There are many ethnic groups here but the majority of the residents are Caucasian and most people speak English at home. The income per capita in Northwest Virginia Beach is 31,591. Median household income is approximately $67,127 per year, and the cost of living is relatively low. The median housing value is $262,270. The economy is strong and the rate of unemployment is very low.
Northwest Virginia Beach has a good variety of both traditional and ethnic restaurants. Amenities such as churches, grocery stores, and parks are plentiful. There are several large shopping malls in and around the Northwest Virginia Beach area.
