Taylor, MI - Hungry Howie's and More! 4 rating By Anonymous ( Aug 09, 2010) I have lived in the greater Metro Detroit area for most of my adult life. I have learned to love the state of Michigan and especially the small city of Taylor. The city is full of hard working people that truly embody the spirit of America. I always enjoy spending my weekends sho ...Read More pping at the famous and expansive Gibraltar Trade Center. The gigantic shopping center is constantly hosting a wide variety of shows and conventions. From gun shows to comic book conventions, the Gibraltar Trade Center always offers an unique and memorable experience.

Taylor is also the birthplace of the world famous Hungry Howie's Pizza chain. I've made a tradition for myself where I buy a slice of delicious pizza and walk down to Heritage Park to watch local school teams engage in riveting games of baseball and soccer. The park also features designated picnic areas, grills, a pool and a small catch and release fishing pond. Yes, Taylor may not appear to be the most exciting city in the state of Michigan, but its genuine people and quaint activities keep me coming back for more. Read Less
