Springfield Virginia: A Neighbor to the Nation’s Capital User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) I experienced an exciting time while living in Springfield Virginia, a neighbor to the nation's capital. The cost of living is somewhat high, due to the fact that i ...Read More t’s centrally and conveniently located. The employment infrastructure is blooming there. Jobs are plentiful from the government, trade, and construction work.

Springfield is very family oriented with numerous great public school communities. The area is extremely safe. I have never seen or heard of crime in Springfield or its neighboring districts. The weather is good, considering its northern whereabouts. For heightened arts, culture, and unforgettable wharf experiences, I always love to skip over to the D.C. area which is about 30 minutes away.

Some of my most memorable and best areas of Springfield Virginia would be off the Springfield Interchange. The interchange gives access to the large indoor Springfield Town Center, along with Tysons Corner Center. Springfield also has mass transportation features like the Franconia-Springfield Metro Station. Read Less
