Somerset, KY is a Decent Place to Live 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) If you're looking for one of the best areas in the state of Kentucky to put down roots, Somerset is the place for you. I have been living in Somerset with my family for about 24 years now and I honestly don't think we could be happier anywhere. We have amazing friends and neighbo ...Read More rs here, a good school system, plenty of jobs to go around, a fairly low crime rate compared to many other places these days, housing is easy to find, and it's just a beautiful little place to live.


When it's time for some rest and relaxation we have Just Kik-N-It Ranch for horseback riding, rafting and kayaking, Somerset Falls Family Park, the Circle Raindrop Ranch, Sk8er's Paradise which is for those who enjoy laser tag, skating, and arcade games, and Yahoo Falls and Arch for some beautiful natural scenery. Come pay us a visit here in Somerset and see what I mean. I'll bet you end up coming back for more! Read Less
