The most beautiful city you've never heard of... User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( Feb 17, 2015) And a San Ramon native I for one can vouch for the fact that it is single-handedly one of the most beautiful places in the Bay. With a very mild climate and beautiful atmosphere, San Ramon is also a major hub for business. Corporations like Chevron, AT&T and Robert Half have root ...Read More ed their home offices right here in San Ramon, so if you're one of the numerous business professionals out there looking to involve themselves with some of the most prestigious companies in the country fair Ramon would be perfect for you. Admittedly this is far from the best part.

Once you break away from the inner city, there are acres of undeveloped land all around it. This makes for some of the most beautiful scenery I've seen in my life. San Ramon is also home to some of the finest educational facilities in the country, with its high school among the ranks of "Newsweek's top 250 high schools in the country". And as if that wasn't enough, the place is full of incredible places to eat, it doesn't seem to matter where you go, you're almost sure to run into some new gem. Yet another notable aspect would be San Ramon's remarkably low crime rate, when I was living there it was almost unheard of. Even as a young man growing up, this place was perfect, because even the public transportation was top-notch. The spiderweb of a transit system throughout the Bay Area made getting around one of the simplest tasks imaginable. All that being said San Ramon is on the pricier end of things, but when considering all the factors, it's a small price to pay for the beauty, safety, and high educational standards that have set this place apart from the Bay for the last 30 years.
