A suburb of Tucson, Saddlebrooke, Arizona is desert living at its best. This sleepy little community enjoys warm weather year-round and a myriad of outdoor activities. I love living in Saddlebrooke because of the ample sunshine and low cost of living. Saddlebrooke is a popular retirement community, so job opportunities are scarce. Most residents commute to nearby Tucson for plentiful employment options in a variety of industries, most notably education.
The best area in Saddlebrooke is The Preserve at Saddlebrooke Golf Course. This club offers sweeping views of the Catalina Mountains and premium golf, recreational, and dining opportunities. Nearby Oracle State Park boasts an exceptional network of hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails. The Biosphere 2 is an educational and fascinating science museum and research center. Residents looking for a cultural experience can take in a show at the Great American Playhouse. The many upscale golf clubs offer a variety of spa services and fine dining options for all tastes and preferences.
