Currently, I have moved out of this city due to job reason. There are no other reasons why anyone wouldn't want to live here. Rocklin is a family oriented place and you can see that most schools here are good to excellent. If you work in this area, owning a house is a practical and enjoyable addition to your lifestyle. Homes are much more affordable in Rocklin compared to bay area or San Francisco and both are a couple of hours drive from this place.

Rocklin has many attractions worth visiting every weekend. There are museums, parks, religious places and shopping centers to begin with. Fast food restaurants adorn every major street in the city. Many home builders have come up with new projects for the growing population. For nature lovers, there are homes that are built on acres and acres of land. Buying your own comfortable and cozy environment to live in is worth the time and I'm sure your budget will allow to buy the house of your dreams. As to the overall cost of living, Rocklin is the right place for retirees. There are so many things to do here as well as in nearby places, such as hiking, site seeing, farmers market and so on. So unless you are a teen or in your early 20s, you won't find it hard to spend your weekends. Read Less
