Best Little Place in the world 5 rating By mmydad ( Apr 21, 2017) Punta Gorda has the nightlife if that is what you are looking for. If you are looking for peace and quiet you can find that as well. There is a variety of living styles such as condos, villas, single family homes and mobile homes.

Some of the things the city has to offer are Laishley Park Marina, several parks, Charlotte Harbor Event Center, Fishermen's Village for shopping and dining, King Fisher Fleet, sailing and boat clubs, bicycle path around the city, Muscle Car City, Florida Tracks and Trails, Peace River Wildlife Center, YMCA, Tennis Club, golf courses, Palm Auto Mall, Bobcat Wilderness Adventure, flea market, events and festivals, Charlotte Players, hotels with waterfront dining, marinas, boat ramps, and dog parks.
