Plum is a friendly and family centered suburb that’s ideal for living a simple life. There’s really not much here besides a great school system and a lot for children to do. One of the best things about Plum though, is that it super safe for kids. Crime is very low. For that alone it’s a great place to raise a family, knowing that your kids will be in a great system for many years. On the other hand, if you want something that can’t easily be find in time (which seems to be often for me) you will have to make your way into the city. There’s really no way to avoid that. The weather here doesn’t get terrible, maybe a bad rain storm here and there, and in the winter it does snow quite a lot, but it’s doable and over time you should get used it. Plum is nice, but it’s small scale may not be for everyone.
