      A True Hidden Gem
A true hidden gem. I love how ambitious the city is. The leaders are young and motivated and seize opportunities (ex. Ice skating rink) when they present themselves. Pittsburg gets a lot of bad press, but there are some cool things coming here (ex. Technology park data center more housing developments). I’m originally from Indiana, so it's not in me to share the pretentiousness that some of my fellow Bay Area friends do. All I know is my neighborhood is quiet, family oriented, and close to transit (BART). Not to mention the increasing home value.

The dog parks are great, and the schools are definitely improving. Not to mention the diversity here. It seems to be the last place in the Bay Area that is truly diverse. I’ve heard the jokes, the judgments, the “oh you live in Pittsburg.” I can honestly say as a young family (30s) making $200k+ that we are more than happy to call Pittsburg home!

      The Ghetto Fabulous Pittsburg California
Pittsburg california is an ok place if you are living around the downtown area and the buchanan area, but if you are anywhere near Martin Luther King Jr. Junior High School in the El Pueblo area, it can get rough. Murders, Robberies, Fights, the works. That is only one of the “Hoods” in pittsburg. You have the whole Parkside neighborhood, 10th street and School street. Many crimes go unreported around these areas and are often bad crimes. Many side shows with people doing donuts in this area, and terrible drivers. I would overall give this city a bad review on the crime and friendly people category.

      Pittsburg it’s great
Pittsburg has nice weather, housing, views, great restaurants, Bart. Anything you need Pittsburg has it. An Most important of all Pittsburg avoids most of the traffic going out to Antioch, Oakley, Brentwood etc... since it’s after Concord.I will definitely recommend Pittsburg , it’s an awesome City to live in.

The Outdoors Area Great In Pittsburg, CA
I love visiting Pittsburg, CA because it is one of the prettiest places that I have ever seen. Sitting right on the water, it can give views that will be certain to take your breath away. One place to be sure and check out is the Pittsburg Marina. Whether you are fishing, want to sit by the water, or take a boat out on an adventure, Pittsburg marina can accommodate any of those. In addition to the beautiful waterfront scene, the architecture of the marina is very beautiful and accents it very well.

Keeping with the beautiful outdoor adventures that Pittsburg has to offer, the Delta View Golf Club is a great way to spend a day. The backdrop from the course is very beautiful. While the golf course isn't an amazing course, it is a nice course that is somewhat challenging and will definitely not break the bank to play there.

Lastly, Pittsburg offers many wonderful parks to spend the day. Many of the parks also have rides for kids and swimming pools. All of this can make a day at the park a fun adventure for the whole family.
