Ice skating rink) when they present themselves. Pittsburg gets a lot of bad press, but there are some cool things coming here (ex. Technology park data center mor ...Read More e housing developments). I’m originally from Indiana, so it's not in me to share the pretentiousness that some of my fellow Bay Area friends do. All I know is my neighborhood is quiet, family oriented, and close to transit (BART). Not to mention the increasing home value.

The dog parks are great, and the schools are definitely improving. Not to mention the diversity here. It seems to be the last place in the Bay Area that is truly diverse. The Ghetto Fabulous Pittsburg California User Rating 1 rating By Anonymous ( Jul 18, 2019) Pittsburg california is an ok place if you are living around the downtown area and the buchanan area, but if you are anywhere near Martin Luther King Jr. Junior High School in the El Pueblo area, it can get rough. Murders, Robberies, Fights, the works. That is only one of the “ ...Read More Hoods” in pittsburg. You have the whole Parkside neighborhood, 10th street and School street. Many crimes go unreported around these areas and are often bad crimes. Many side shows with people doing donuts in this area, and terrible drivers. I would overall give this city a bad review on the crime and friendly people category. Read Less

Keeping with the beautiful outdoor adventures that Pittsburg has to offer, the Delta View Golf Club is a great way to spend a day. The backdrop from the course is very beautiful. While the golf course isn't an amazing course, it is a nice course that is somewhat challenging and will definitely not break the bank to play there.

Lastly, Pittsburg offers many wonderful parks to spend the day. Many of the parks also have rides for kids and swimming pools. All of this can make a day at the park a fun adventure for the whole family. Read Less
