This place has tight streets and overcrowded with rude people who will make fun of you for no reason at Fashion Island. The WiFi there will steal your data. There is an Asian boy who is tall in a light blue suit and black pants and he is being extremely rude and prejudice towards ...Read More

However, it is very pricey and the people who live here are arrogant and conceited, for the most part. For much less money, you could live in Huntington Beach or Costa Mesa. These are nearby areas, that are also close to the beach, without the enormous rent and really snooty peop ...Read More

I attended high school in Newport Beach and it was a very disappointing experience. The teachers were not good and I didn't get much out of my education. If you're thinking about relocating here, it would be okay if you are a single person, with a high paying job in that area. I would not recommend NB for a family that has school aged children.

I am proud to be able to call Newport Beach my hometown. It is like a machine, it is well oiled and repairs are small and quick. Newport Beach is a great get-away, and in my case, a hometown.
Attractions have never been a problem. The beaches make a great time with friends ...Read More
and family to spend a couple of hours with. Don't like the beach, no problem, head on down to the Balboa Fun Zone. Here, children remain children and adults turn into children. An arcade and an amusement park in one! To loud, get over to the Orange County Museum of Art to view masterpieces. Newport Beach is the town for everyone to have a good time.
The Community-your gonna have a hard time finding a complaint about that. All the neighborhoods are quiet during the day and for most of the night-unless your community is having a celebration of some sort. Occasionally, there will be the complaint of a night party gone too far, but only on the rarest occasions. Generally its a great community.
Nightlife is no exception for Newport. Head to any of our bars and have a nice drink. Go dancing with your date and have a good time. No problems there!
Our Cuisine is one of top notch. Head to the Yard House for great food or any other restaurants such as 21 Oceanfront, The Crab Cooker, or The Cannery Newport. By the time you leave your gonna wish you had some more!
Shopping is something we are VERY good at. Head on down to Fashion Island were you'll find stores of the hottest brands, or if you need it, furniture. Stop by Barnes n' Nobles and have a cup of coffee and catch up on a novel. Head to the theatre and catch a movie, all in Newport Beach.
Newport Beach will keep you busy and happy- thats why I live here. Come on down!

My husband and I recently spent three days in June 2010 vacationing in Newport Beach, California. We stayed at the Newport Channel Inn located at 6030 West Pacific Coast Highway. This was a very nice place to stay and the best part about it was that it was directly across the roa ...Read More

The first day of our trip in Newport Beach we went whale watching with Newport Landing Whale Watching. This was definitely a once in a life time experience for me. My husband and I had a great time seeing the whales and we also got some great pictures of the whales as they skimmed the top of the water.
The second day of our trip we went to Newport beach. I enjoyed laying on the beach. My husband took surf lessons while we were at the beach. Even though he wasn't a very good surfer he had an great time. That evening we went to Tommy Bahama's Grille for dinner. The restaurant was a little more expensive than I am used to paying, but it was definitely worth the extra couple dollars. This restaurant served the freshest seafood that I have ever had in my life.
The only thing we regret about our trip to Newport Beach, California is that we didn't have time to stay longer.
