I have lived here my entire life, and I'm itching to leave. Living in Mounds View is like constantly sleeping the day away. It feels like the town has no purpose or drive behind it. Things are poorly organized, and it is mostly a bunch of old ladies who have nothing better to do ...Read More
than gossip. There isn't many job opportunities here, and we aren't near enough to a major city to make our meager shopping choices seem like enough.
Though the town for the most part drags, the best areas in Mounds View are the places to eat. I've seen some towns as small as ours have nothing but a gas station and maybe a bowling alley to get a bite to eat at. Here, we have places like Moe's, which serves a mean breakfast, and Pink Flower Vietnamese, which has food not commonly seen in tiny towns. So, I guess we have that going for us. Maybe we're not the worst city around.
