I lived in Monroeville for a couple years and commuted to the city for work. It was a nice place to live in and I enjoyed it for the most part. There's a bunch of places to have some fun even during the occasionally cold winters, such as Sky Zone Trampoline Park or the Monroevill ...Read More
e Mall. The best area in Monroeville is definitely Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden. It's simply beautiful in the summer.
Since Pittsburgh is right next door, you won't have any trouble finding a job. There are also some local schools where you can pick up a night class or two if you want to learn something new. Renting an apartment or buying a house is also pretty affordable, so you won't have to break your bank account finding a place to live. Overall it's a fun city to live in and there are plenty of opportunities for work, and young professionals will appreciate the low cost of living.
