I have been living in Mill Creek East, WA for the past five years and have lived near it about 40 years. It has a great planned downtown with a wide range of places to shop. To the east of town there is Mill Creek Country Club which is a really nice 18 hole golf course. Also on the east end of Mill Creek is where most of the single-family homes are while nearer to downtown it is mostly apartments and condo buildings.
There are three grocery stores in Mill Creek East which anchor the downtown area. These are Albertsons, QFC, and Central Market. There are a number of good restaurants as well. My favorite restaurant is China Garden and some other good ones are the Rusty Pelican Cafe Mill Creek and the Claypit Cuisine of India. The only real downsides to Mill Creek East is that the two main roads, Bothell-Everett Highway and 164th, can get very backed up in the mornings and evening due to people commuting.
