Having lived within Lomita, I can say that this city houses approximately twenty-thousand people in a relatively small space. It can feel very dense and congested at times. There can be spikes in criminal activity in this neighborhood, which can be a cause for concern.

t thing about Lomita is the fact that it is so much cheaper than some of the neighboring cities, for example Torrance or Palos Verdes. Having experienced some of these issues myself, I believe the city drinking water is extremely disgusting, and would not recommend drinking it.
The school districts are questionable and seem to have drug issues, especially in high school. There are far better school districts in the adjacent regions compared to Lomita.
I believe Lomita is a great neighborhood for people who are looking to retire or looking to find a cheap city to reside in. Overall, Lomita is an alright place to live, but there are certainly some outlying issues hidden within this city.
