ated here. My family and I moved here to get away from the hustle and bustle of New York City.
When we first arrived we noticed all of the statues and museums that represent the beginning of the U.S. This city, Lexington, is great when it comes to educating our children about this great country. Here is Lexington, MA there are colonial homes that are still standing and some are even considered as landmarks. Lexington is a nice suburban area that is just outside of the city of Boston.
The school district here is also great, it has been nationally recognized for its excellence. Some of the best areas in Lexington, MA to visit are the Hancock-Clarke House, the Lexington Green, Wilson Farm, and the Buckman and Monroe Taverns. These places are great for soaking in the history of the city. After that you have the famous gourmet kitchens of Neillio's and Via Lago. Another great place to go with the family to enjoy a meal is the Artistry, which is located on the Green. When the husband is out golfing, the kids and I take the car and enjoy the scenic shopping in downtown Lexington.
Night life here is fun as well, my husband and I enjoy date night at the WXYZ Bar. After cocktails we dine at Waxy O'Connor's, a great restaurant tucked away amongst buildings on a busy business district. Waxy was a wonderful surprise and a delicious treat. With the great re-enactments of the American Revolutionary War, great school systems, and just an overall great place to live; Lexington, MA has proven to be a great place to live for me and my family.
