Wow, what a Sexy Town

I have lived in Lake Jackson for 17 years, and moving here was the best decision of my entire life. I used to live in Seabrook, Texas, but Lake Jackson is better in every single possible way. The people are nicer, the restaurants are better, and everything just looks better. Would definitely recommend moving here if considering.

Lake Jackson, TX – A Small Town with Big Personality

I have lived in Lake Jackson, TX for 3 years now. At first, I was hesitant about the move, but once I got here, I realized that this town is everything I had ever dreamed of in a community.

You always hear people talking about southern hospitality, but until you experience it, you really don’t understand it. The neighbors are so friendly, and everyone is unbelievably kind. Neighbors really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I could not ask for a better sense of community!

When it comes to grocery shopping, the stores cannot be beat. Since farmland can be found so close by, you can enjoy fresh, local produce all-year-round. Not only is my family happier, but I feel they are much healthier because accessing fresh food is so easy.

Since it is a smaller town, there isn’t much nightlife, which is a welcome change. There is plenty to do for most of the night, but members of the community don’t have to deal with large clubs and the crime that usually comes with them.

Extreme rent prices

It may say by census the average rent is 930, maybe for a 1 bedroom apt. Most places ask between $1,100 to $2,800 per month. Unless you work at the plant or have a degree you will never be able to afford to get ahead. Terrible air quality due to the plants.
