Very nice people 4 rating By Anonymous ( Sep 30, 2019) I live here currently and have for about a year. There's a lot of cons but a lot of good things too. The nearest mall is an hour and a half away. Not too much shopping or things to do at all. Very hard to find work. However it's affordable. Rents not too high, no sales tax is gre ...Read More at all my necessities are cheap. The people are friendly, you know your neighbors and such. I was in the hospital and my coworkers came to visit me and helped me out a lot. Great community. Some people think the crime is bad, but coming up here from california I disagree. You can walk around town at night and not get robbed. Read Less

I am one of many here who enjoy mountain biking, cross-country skiing, bird watching, and canoeing. The weather is perfect most of the time here, too.

Mountain Lakes Wilderness Area is popular among people who like to go fishing. The lakes are clean and gorgeous. You can gaze at the mountains that are clearly reflected in them.

Not too far outside Klamath Falls are the famous Crater Lake National Park and
Lava Beds National Monument.

I grew up in a family that earned a good living with businesses related to tourism. However, the average person would probably have a hard time finding work here. There are often high unemployment rates. Many of the jobs that are available are for seasonal workers and other laborers. Read Less
