kalamazoo what a joke User Rating 1 rating By keithandmelissa ( Jun 06, 2017) kalamazoo is nothing like it was before i can not wait to get out of here. the schools are not like they were before they just want to push your child/children through no matter what. the schools says they have a NO bullying tolerance thats a load of BULLS*IT our kids were being ...Read More bullied every single day. they say they have a dress code No they do NOT they let the females wear clothes that show their butt cheeks and boobs and they let the guys were pants and shorts down to the knees. there is so much crime here i hate every time to leave the house because people are killing people here for no reasons. we have homeless and bums here because they choose NOT to work and you cant go down the street without seeing a help wanted sigh no one wants to work here. so much violence.. when we leave kalamazoo we will NOT be coming back. if kalamazoo had a - i would give it a negative 5 parents need to be on top of their kids and raise them right and treat and install values in their children considering they are the future, people come here because we have beer pubs and they cant figure out why there is so much crime here in kalamazoo. we use to be known as the paper mill now kalamazoo is known for breweries crime violence and no one who gives a sh*t about anyone Read Less
Yes, There Really Is A Kalamazoo and It's In Michigan! An assortment of post educational facilities meant there was an abundance of students in the area. I stayed at the beautiful Radisson Plaza Hotel in th ...Read More e heart of downtown. Though it was expensive, its central location and charming views made it worth every penny. It also afforded me the opportunity to walk to some of the local brewpubs in the area. My personal favorite was the Olde Peninsula at 200 W Michigan Ave., a quaint brewpub located near the hotel.

While visiting, I was fortunate enough to catch the bi-annual Kalamazoo Animation Festival International. Local artists promoted Kalamazoo's animation industry while providing some intriguing entertainment. The festival was geared towards supplying information and encouragement for artists interested in animation, a theme I admit was not too exciting for me.

The next day, I decided to check out the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts which had some fascinating art work. It was explained to me that the museum held over 3,000 pieces of art, and I believed it. By the end of the day, my feet were sore from walking all over the museum. Read Less
