Safe, small neighborhood feel 4 rating By Anonymous ( Jan 13, 2022) My husband and I have lived here (we rent) for 9 years and I have lived in Ingram for 13. It is a nice area that is close to Robinson Township, the city, and a small local grocery store (Giant Eagle). While I would feel fairly safe walking around my street at night, I probably wo ...Read More uld not. In all of the years that I have lived here, there has only been one major incident in my neighborhood. Unfortunately, this situation had to get really bad to the point where the SWAT team from the city police was called in, in the middle of the night (the Ingram police just gave the guy a warning several times when he got drunk and began arguing with his mother (which was not very often). However, this has been the only thing that I/we have encountered since I have lived here in the past years. This situation could also have happened anywhere. Overall, Ingram is a quiet community. My husband and I both park outside and we have never had any issues, thank God. Our landlords are great and very nice people. I often see people walking their dogs in the neighborhood and I would buy a house in Ingram if that is where we planned to stay (moving out of Ingram for unrelated reasons). Read Less
