The Community Stands Together in Hillsborough, CA
I’ve lived in Hillsborough for 10 years. The cost of living is extremely expensive in Hillsbourough, but the low crime rates and safe neighborhoods make it well worth it in my mind. The weather is usually sunny even through out the winter, however; an occasional gust of wind comes into town every now and then.

Within the community, people are very supportive of each other. The community really comes together during the hosted Summer Festivals. These festivals feature music, food and plenty of activities for the children. The nightlife here could be better, but many people choose to party and go to clubs in close nearby cities.

The best areas in Hillsborough are along El Camino rd. El Camino, which passes through the nearby cities of San Mateo and Burlingame, has a long list of both high and low-end shops. Grocery and holiday shopping are a breeze due to the newly added set of freeways. The schools here are some of the best in the entire Bay Area. There is a wide selection of elementary and high schools to choose from.
