Small Town Features User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) Gardner is one of those small towns that offer a lot of nothing. However, I've lived here for two years and wouldn't leave at all. There are very few large businesses, so it's hard to find a job. However, if you venture about 15 miles down the road, then you begin to see shopping ...Read More centers, banks, and larger businesses that offer the kind of money that you need to live in the town. My favorite place to visit is Dunn State Park. It's beautiful in the winter with snow on the ground and comfortable in the summer since it's really not that hot all the time.

You'll find a few attractions in Gardner that you might not expect. One is a pool hall called Shooters Billiards. As long as you visit before about 11 at night, then you'll have a good time. The bar does offer discounts on certain days of the week. DeeDees Treasures is a fun place to go as well if you like antiques and unique items that you can't usually find in retail stores. Read Less
