Located along the base of the majestic Rocky Mountains, Frederick, Colorado is the quintessential Front Range town. I love living in Frederick because of the many outdoor recreational opportunities it provides its residents. With a climate that experiences all four seasons and over 300 sunny days a year, Frederick has it all. Skiiers and hikers will delight in the plentiful opportunities to hone their trade in the nearby mountains. Eldora Ski Resort is the closest skiing opportunity, located about one hour from Frederick.
Because of its close proximity to the Denver and Boulder metropolitan areas, residents enjoy a diverse range of employment opportunities including vast technology and manufacturing options. The best area in Frederick is the quaint downtown area. During the summers, the area comes alive with the weekly farmers market. Centennial Park is a hub of community activity, featuring an amphitheater, a boulder climbing area, numerous trails and a fitness loop, picnic shelters, and unparalleled views of the Colorado landscape.
