I don't what what's positive to say about this place. Cheap gas at Cumby's that's about it. Been here a little over a year. Within 2 days of moving into an apartment, the local heroin dealer next door (unbeknownst to me) OD'd and died. Charming isn't it? I don't live in the worst section but it's bad. Out of 20 families on my street, only about 8 people actually work. I leave for my job in the am and come home and the same cars are parked in the same spots in the PM for consecutive days. Random cars with loud music and engines come down the street at all nights to score dope and other drugs. Luckily my neighbors aren't too bad but there's literally a family of 12 crammed into a 3 bedroom with 4 babies. Also, why does EVERYONE in this city have an attitude? No one smiles or is kind, seems like the whole city is too doped up to function. Too many system abusers and welfare collectors. I can't tell you how many times I've seen Fall River residents selling their food stamps on Facebook. Mom and Pop shops are getting vandalized bc this city's drug problem is out of control. There are decent people but they're few and far between. It's all well and good that a new shopping center is being built but it'll be disgusting and crappy within a matter of months. Anyone with a good head on their shoulders, don't be fooled by the cheap rent (like I was), I drive up my street everyday saying to myself "I hate this city". I can't wait to move.
