Spending the last ten years living in Eldersburgm a lot has changed. So it generally remains safe, there’s a lot more commercial business and thwaths of people moving in from neighboring counties. Schools are great, overall the community is very family oriented rural farm town.
If you’re anything like me and like to go out or enjoy looking for something outside of the usual, you’re better off getting out of town. Typically, Westminster or Columbia are best suited for shopping and movies. Eldersburg does have a fair number of restaurants and local businesses, but again, for something outside the usual, they’re going to be your best bet.
Generally, the people here are really nice, the community is mature with, and the slight side in crime is due in part to a sudden increase in the population over the years. For a developing fural farm town, Elderburg is a nice place to raise a family, or as an escape away from big city living.
