I love living in Duncan! My favorite part about living in Duncan is the weather, it rarely snows and the sun is shinning for more than half of the year. The second best characteristic is the beautiful and colorful crepe myrtle trees, Duncan is known as the crepe myrtle capital of Oklahoma. My family enjoy Duncan as well. My wife especially loves the museum on the Chisholm Trail and it's massive public library located near highway 81. One of my children even attends the Cameron University extension in Duncan. There's also a vocational center where my son received his associates degree.
Another good thing is that the property value and living expenses in Duncan is reasonably priced. The community is also a decent size and it has a good mix of people from all different classes. However, one downside to the town are its demographics. The town is ninety percent caucasian which requires us to travel to experience people from different cultures.
