Personally I am from the Bay Area, California and I am use to be a city person. I stayed out here for a short period of time and thought that his location was great for a vacation only. I definitely would not recommend living here unless you are retired or are someone that enjoys the isolation. They have beautiful views of campsites and large bodies of water. There are also lots of cheap homes there for sale that are huge.

Living in Clearlake, CA was a great experience, but would not recommend living here. There is not much work out here. You wont be able to make a lot of money unless you own a business in farming or construction. It is very slow moving here, that why I stated that it is best for a short vacation. The weather is extremely hot and extremely cold in the winters. If you are someone who is sensitive to heat, this is not the place for you. The best places in Clearlake, CA is the campsites near the water.
