I like Chester with the close proximity between Philadelphia and Wilmington. Living in Chester means I am living 18 Miles outside of Philadel ...Read More phia. Chester sits at the base of the bridge into New Jersey so I can be at the beach in an hour! The location makes Chester a perfect home base to all the local happenings. Chester opened a Casino with Horse Racing and built a new stadium for the Philadelphia Union Soccer Team. I have never been bored while in Chester!

As far as job opportunities, most jobs are outside of Chester in Philadelphia. There is a major hospital and university in Chester so if you are in the medical field or education field your commute is an easy one. If you choose to work in Philadelphia, there are many public transportation options to work. Read Less
