I experienced an invaluable time while living in Chambersburg Pennsylvania. The city is in the boroughs of Franklin County. Chambersburg Pennsylvania is close to the Great Appalachian Valley area. The town has a large population and is fairly inexpensive. Housing and employment are stable facets for the city. Most jobs surround the agriculture and distribution industries. The weather in Chambersburg is pleasant, as the winters are not horrid or dreadful like other northern areas. There are public and private schools there, as well as a state-owned school for children of veterans. The community is also home to Wilson College.
Some of the best areas in Chambersburg Pennsylvania surround Caledonia State Park. The park is an area that provides recreational activities like biking, swimming, camping, walking, fishing, hunting, and other community entertainment. The neighbors gather there for the annual Fourth of July event, which is very big for the city. It is a great town with lots of character. The town does not have any major crime issues and is very family-oriented. This is a great place to keep on the radar if relocating.
