Old Family money controls this town

Lived in and around Cape Giradeau for years. Unfortunately, you can not make a living here unless you are a doctor, lawyer, attorney, realtor or you happen to be a family of friend of one of the old families that have the lions share of businesses and money. You cannot got head to head against them in business, their pockets are too deep. The wages paid have been intentionally kept down by these old families.
