Camano Island is located in Island County, in the Puget Sound Region of Washington. Living in Camano is wonderful, I am surrounded by the exquisite beauty of the natural Pacific Northwest Environment. I recently purchased my home here, as it is located a reasonable distance from the greater Seattle area, but still provides access to many of the same quality amenities offered in the city. For those who don't know, Seattle has placed a huge emphasis on sourcing foods from sustainable markets, and it is no different here in Camano. I often find myself enjoying a meal at one of the many local restaurants that use quality ingredients grown right here in the Northwest.

The best areas in Camano to find a quality meal are off highway 532, I personally visit a restaurant called HodgePodge Easy Eats when I am in the mood for stellar fish tacos. The sense of community is very engrained here on the island, and I believe this is due to the fact that the majority living here own a home. We have developed close relationships with friendly neighbours and the local business owners. This is a very quiet place to live, and yet we are not too far from the city!
