I lived in black rock for 5 years in my first house, and another 6 months prior to that in an apartment. I witnessed a man beating a dog, witnessed my neighbor getting rousted from his home as part of a 6am coordinated raid on drug dealers citywide, had a drunk crash into a car a ...Read More
t the end of my driveway, witnessed a mass brawl when a party bus emptied out in front of my house one night, got stabbed and brutally assaulted, had my car battery and some tools stolen from my car in my driveway, and had a concrete bird bath stolen by my neighbor.
It's a cheap place to live, but don't buy into any claims of a "renaissance" by smarmy restaurantours.
