Although I enjoy living in Brunswick, ME, there are very few things to do unless you travel outside the town limits. I've been here for about three years and moved to the area because I love the state of Maine. The cool air in the fall and the snowfall in the winter make up for the warmer temperatures in the spring and summer. There is a beauty in this area of the state that is like none other.
Many of the attractions that are in Brunswick are historical homes and museums. My favorite place to visit is the Skolfield-Whittier House on Park Row. You can take a tour of the home at almost any time during the year, but my favorite time to visit is at Christmas because the house is decorated with lights and old-fashioned items like red bows and candles. Wyler Gallery is a fun place to go if you like arts and crafts supplies or if you want to see some of the artwork from people who live in the town.
