Broadlands is How Planned Communities Should Be Done
We were among the first families to settle in the Broadlands community when it was incorporated in '95. Some might say that the cost of living in Broadlands, VA, is high, but I considered it an investment in our quality of life. Our kids get to grow up in a safe community that's dedicated to preserving nature. We have great schools, almost no crime to speak of, and every amenity you could possibly imagine. The entire city is home-owner controlled, so residents really have a say in how things are done.
The best areas in Broadlands, VA, are the natural areas that our HOA pays to keep up. The whole development was built around Stream Valley Park, but the centerpiece of the community is definitely our 5,000 square foot Nature Center. One of the biggest events every year is the Broadlands Live Concert Series. If you're visiting, check out the Broadlands Village Center or the Market Place.
