Aaah! I miss Bountiful so much!
I lived there for about 5 years, on Center Street, and being in the center of this amazing town was supergreat. We moved away 4 years ago and let me tell you I miss it SO MUCH. There's a chalk festival sometime in the spring, which is an absolute ...Read More
necessary thing to see. The recreation center is amazing with a few huge swimming pools, a splendid ice skating rink, a basketball court, etcetera etcetera.
I don't remember any crime at all in this town.
The Bountiful Temple is really a sight to see, and hard to miss. It's very beautiful.
As far as schools, I can only recommend the one I went to, which was Hannah Holbrook Elementary. Hands down the most amazing elementary experience I could have had, it's a great school.
It's pretty family friendly there, and the neighbors/community are more than I could've asked for.
I hope this helps someone! And I hope you enjoy Bountiful as much as I did.

I moved to Bountiful, Utah from Charlotte, North Carolina about 10 years ago. This was the best move I made as I went from a bustling city to a quiet little town. All of the people are friendly, or those I've talked to are, and there are several shops in the town that are owned b ...Read More
y the people who live here. I didn't think that I would like living in such a small town, but there are many things to do for all ages of the family. I especially like living close to the ski slopes.
One of my favorite places to go is the South Davis Recreation Center. This is for anyone who likes to swim or likes to enjoy physical activities. There is a large pool indoors with an exciting water slide. Another fun part of the center is the ice skating rink. I like to run, so the indoor track comes in handy. There are also activities for kids.
When I want to unwind after a busy day, I like going to The Garage. This might sound like a rough place to go, but it's not that bad. Live music is played through the week, and you can usually catch some kind of sporting event on the television. The hamburgers are perhaps the best thing on the menu. Another place I like to go, especially in the winter, is Gallivan Center. It turns into a winter wonderland close to Christmas with lights and an ice skating rink. I enjoy going there with my family and drinking hot chocolate before going to look at the rest of the lights on the houses of the town.
